Experience the Ultimate Niseko Cat Skiing Adventure

Niseko cat skiing isn’t just the premier way to access the world-renowned Japanese powder in all its pristine, untracked glory—it’s a truly distinctive experience that can only be found in Hokkaido’s legendary snow country.

Pure Powder Paradise

Picture yourself carving through impossibly deep, feather-light Japanese powder that’s so dry it practically floats around you like silk. Run after run, you’ll experience the pure exhilaration of knowing these virgin slopes are yours alone—no crowds, no lift lines, no other riders cutting up your perfect powder playground before you arrive.

Navigate through enchanting glades where centuries-old trees stand sentinel over your descent. Launch yourself off Niseko’s famous pillow drops, those distinctive wind-sculpted snow formations that have become legendary among powder enthusiasts worldwide.

With each turn, you’ll send towering plumes of champagne powder spraying into the crisp mountain air, creating those Instagram-worthy moments that define an epic powder day.

Your Private Powder Highway

This is skiing and snowboarding as it was meant to be experienced, just you and your carefully curated group, claiming epic powder lines one after another. No waiting and no sharing the mountain with hundreds of other riders. Instead, you’ll ascend back to the summit in comfort aboard your dedicated cat skiing chariot, warming up between runs while anticipating the next perfect descent.

The beauty of cat skiing lies in its efficiency and exclusivity. While resort skiers queue at crowded lifts, you’ll be accessing untouched terrain that most visitors never even glimpse. Each run offers a new adventure, whether you’re weaving through perfectly spaced tree, floating through wide-open bowls, or navigating natural terrain features that showcase Niseko’s diverse topography.

Everything You Need, Thoughtfully Provided

We understand that a day this special deserves seamless execution. That’s why we provide your avalanche safety equipment for those who don’t travel with their own gear, ensuring your adventure is both thrilling and secure.

Midway through your epic day, we’ll fuel your adventure with a carefully prepared, delicious lunch that’s designed to keep your energy levels peaked for the afternoon’s powder hunting. There’s nothing quite like savouring a satisfying meal surrounded by Hokkaido’s stunning winter landscape, sharing stories of the morning’s best runs with your fellow powder enthusiasts.

The Perfect Recovery

After an unforgettable day of deep powder skiing, your muscles will thank you for our included onsen experience. These traditional Japanese hot springs offer the ideal way to soak away any fatigue while reflecting on the day’s adventures. The contrast between the cold mountain air and the therapeutic warmth of natural mineral waters creates a uniquely Japanese end to your perfect powder day.

Secure Your Spot in Paradise

We partner exclusively with Hokkaido Backcountry Club, recognized leaders in premium cat skiing experiences. Due to the intimate nature of these adventures and the limited terrain access, seats are extremely restricted and typically sell out well in advance. The exclusivity that makes this experience so special also means availability disappears quickly.

Don’t let this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity slip away, contact us to reserve your place in what many consider the ultimate powder skiing experience.

This isn’t just another day on the mountain—this is your gateway to experiencing Niseko’s legendary powder the way nature intended, in its purest, most exhilarating form.

INTERMEDIATE – ADVANCED

This tour offers a range of terrain options, from mild tree glades like you find in a resort, through to more technical lines with natural pillows and drops. Cat skiing is perfect for intermediate to advanced skiers & boarders looking to get into untracked backcountry snow without the ‘walking’. Our experienced guides know the terrain inside & out and will dial in the best lines for your group …. and that’s definitely not lift lines!

Bring a snorkel when you go cat skiing because there’s days when the powder is that deep.

Time

Your tour will usually commence at 8.00am, however, depending on your pick-up location, we will confirm this with you once you have booked. You will need to be ready 10 minutes prior to your arranged pick-up time… we’re known to be early when it's a powder day.

Photography

If you purchase the photography add on you will be accompanied by a professional photographer for the entire day who will take magazine quality photos of you and your group. These high resolution images will be delivered to you directly via your inbox and a link to our online archive within one week of your tour. Please ask for a quote if you also want a video of your tour.

Transport

You will be picked up from your accommodation and drop you back home at the end of the day - unless, of course, you would like to join us for apres-ski at our local watering hole. You can also checkout one of the nearby onsens or restaurants.

What to Bring

Please bring all your own ski attire and equipment as per usual for a day on the hill. If you have your own beacon, probe and shovel and know how to use it then please bring it along, otherwise we will supply one and demonstrate it during our morning beacon and avalanche safety briefing. Snacks and a drink for energy top-ups between runs
